Hmm, if I can't keep a journal very well....

I happened to be inspired to try to keep up a blog better....BUT, we all know that this is a long shot...;) I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to keeping a journal, but HEY, might as well try right? :) to sum up the summer in ONE blog? Well...I say, let's go to the pictures! WOO!

Ready? Set? GO!

1) Discovered how I have awesome roommates! AND...jumping into Lake Mary at night, is quite an exciting way to end a night :)

2) Dated a boy, not just a boy. He's pretty much awesome :) We've moved on, BUT, we learned a lot. I'm grateful for experiences like that :)

3) Went to Paris, France!!!! .......NOT! I wish...:( BUT, hey the one in Vegas is the best I could do...:D

4) Was a good citizen with my roommate and picked up trash near our apartment complex...GO SERVICE!

5) Got stuck in 115 degree weather, 12 miles outside of Bullhead City, for about an hour. Good times? Eh, maybe not so much. But at least we know how to fix an overheated car!

6) Hung out with the coolest people I know...MISSIONARIES! Which btw...I miss Sister Bowles :(

7) Got my trash kicked in bowling...though 2nd place isn't bad! ;) Props to Sister Kilgrow and her amazing bowling skills...I'm just saying.

8) Discovered the happiness that yellow minions are RIDICULOUSLY cute. AND...that wearing 3D glasses over regular glasses...stinks.

9) Picked up a guitar and realized how easy Taylor Swift songs are to play :) Happiness for songs that have the D, A, Em, G chords!! :D

10) How AWESOME the game of Quelf is :) AND, how Nick is like the coolest person/friend ever!! :)

11) How wearing a name tag just makes you feel like a COOL kid B) Emphasis on cool.

12) That one of the easiest ways to make Marr-Rhyzle to place her in a situation where there are a bunch of missionaries around!! :D

13) That not only are Snuggies AWESOME (I don't care what anyone says...they're AWESOME!)...but they double as jedi/monk robes!

14) Playing "King of the Rock" on the Colorado River, with a little floaty mattress and 4 people...equals a great couple hours of fun!

15) Two words. MUSTACHE PARTY. Nuff said fool.

16) Going to lava tubes with good friends....good times. COLD? Yes. DARK? Yes. FUN TIMES? Abso-stinking-LUTELY.

ANYWAY. That's just a little insight into the shenanigans of my summer. Quite eventful in my opinion. If you want to know more...guess you'll have to facebook stalk me...haha. JK. Seriously, don't creep on me. That's weird :) Anywho, have a fantastic day. I have institute class soon anyhow :) Tally ho for now.

Oh yes folks, it is that time again. GENERAL CONFERENCE!! Two times a year I am at my happiest when General Conference rolls around :) If you don't know what it is, twice a year, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints holds a conference in which the Prophet of the church, his Apostles, and Member of the Seventy give talks, give counsel to the people, and give the general welfare of the church. It's also a time where we sustain the men/women in their callings in the church...and pretty much a huge gathering for Mormons!! :) It's like the greatest ever, and one of the few times you can be spiritually enlightened in your PJ's :P

I have come this time prepared with questions to be answered, and I have definitely already felt like I've obtained some good knowledge and lots of answers :) One of the things that stuck out to me the most was their constant emphasis on the family. Especially these days, Satan does his best to try and break up the family :( I think these men have given great counsel as to how we CANNOT let this happen! Another thing I really enjoyed (besides Elder Uchtdorf's amazing accent ;D) was Elder Jeffery R. Holland's talk. One thing I really like about Elder Holland is that he is very blunt in the counsel he gives...and you KNOW he is talking business. His talks are amazing (check out his last talk from October 2009 conference about the Book of Mormon...AWESOME!) and he is just an amazing person.

I LOVEEE General Conference, and I'm so excited for the rest of it tomorrow!! :) It's such an amazing experience to hear from the leaders of the church and to see how much they truly love us. I love it. I love the Gospel. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Life is GOOD.

Happy Fortunes!

*A letter of great importance may reach you any day now.*
*A partnership shall prove successful for you.*
*There is always time for you to try a new path in life.*
*Someone is interested in you. Keep your eyes open.*

Ahh :) Gotta love the good fortunes from the fortune cookie!! :) Especially lately, hmm, I think they can all tie into my life somehow :) Not that I'm exclaiming they are answers in anyway, but still, it's quite fun to try to tie in fortune cookies into your life...which is what I think I will do! It's always fun to have dreams and fairy tales...cause in this day and age, no one believes in them anymore :/

I personally would like to say that just as a side note, I DO believe in fairy tale endings :D Yep, so maybe it's not exactly a prince riding on his stallion in his shiny armor and sweeping you off your feet...BUT, hey, I think chivalrous Mormon boys come VERY close to princes ;) And what better way to "end" your fairy tale than getting married in a castle (temple)!! :D I'm just saying...fairy tale endings do exist :) And they exist for time and all eternity... :)

University of Alberta

Lately, I have been thinking a lot. NAU hasn't lived up to my expectation of what I thought it would be. I don't know...what do you think?

Hello there reader :)

Welcome to my mind! I can't guarantee you that anything I post will be interesting or crazy and outrageous, but here's my life for you. Hope you enjoy :)
